Entrepreneurship

This course includes the theory and practice of entrepreneurship and new venture creation. Conversion of technological know-how and engineering theories into business enterprises, connecting technology with markets, the role and characteristics of entrepreneurs, preparing a business plan, securing sources of capital, and understanding the complexities of selecting a management team. Students will be developing their own ventures and will be critiqued by a panel of venture capitalists and members of the business community.
