Graduate Internship (optional)

Pre-requisites:  Consent of instructor

The graduate internship is designed to provide doctoral students with more opportunities to test and experiment in industry, research organizations, government agencies, and other appropriate experiential venues associated with technology utilization, transfer, and innovation for the explicit purpose of developing knowledge in the specialization.  A personal assessment portfolio will be developed as part of the internship experience.

The internship experience is to provide an opportunity for the doctoral student to test relevant theories linking the university experience to a process of technology transfer and/or development. The internship shall be tailored to be supportive of the major area of specialization.
