Dr. Nadia Al-Ansary

Dr. Nadia Al-Ansary is a renowned expert in Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) policy, with nearly two decades of experience driving innovation and shaping STI ecosystems in Egypt. Her work bridges academia, industry, and policymaking, positioning her as a leader in fostering transformative change across sectors.

With a robust network spanning think tanks, NGOs, funding agencies, industry stakeholders, and international programs, Nadia excels in building partnerships that advance innovation. Her expertise lies in addressing critical challenges in Egypt’s innovation landscape and identifying opportunities to strengthen its global competitiveness.

Nadia’s academic foundation in photochemistry, photobiology, laser applications, cancer research, and nanotechnology provides her with a multidisciplinary perspective. Her research in nanomedicine and biomedical laser applications has contributed to bridging the gap between scientific discovery and real-world impact.

She has held pivotal leadership roles, including positions at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT). As Executive Director of NanoTech Egypt Co., she successfully linked academia with industry, driving innovation and commercialization of research.
