Pivotal and Emerging Technologies

The focus of this course is on selected new technologies or continuing development of existing technologies. Discussing the road map of their developments, their importance, and their roles in the different aspects of life such as in industry, business, economy, education, medicine, etc.  Irrespective of the fact that the technologies and/or their practical applications may still be largely unrealized, they are figuratively emerging into prominence from a background of nonexistence or obscurity, however, they may have great potential in the near future. (This course can be repeated for another emerging technology).
