The first part of this course covers; Techniques and tools of project management, the use of network flow techniques including critical path management (PM/CPM), planning systems concepts, time management, conflicts, cost and resource control, tradeoffs, and sensitivity analyses, PERT/Cost, and project crashing. Moreover, to have effective project management, knowledge management should be tackled. In the second part of this course, students will be exposed to critical issues of organizational adaptation, survival, and competence in the face of increasingly discontinuous environmental change. The hierarchy of data, information, knowledge, and technology. The synergy of people, processes, and technology. The focus is on the knowledge management processes and assessment. Identifying success and failure factors. Organizational processes that seek a synergistic combination of data and information processing capacities and the creative and innovative capacity of human beings
