Emerging Technologies & Advanced MOT

This course discusses emerging technologies, their evolvement, and the effect of international, political, social, economic, and cultural factors. Topics covered in the course include accuracy in the forecasting of past technologies, how to improve them, international perspective on emerging technologies, future customer trends, and forecasting methodologies. Emerging technologies will be examined through students’ company examples, invited speakers, and videos.  The management processes are discussed considering the rapid changes in technology, customer demands, industrial advancing processes, socio-economic aspects, and environmental considerations will be discussed
